This privacy policy applies to all SOWND services (hereby referred to as "Services" or "Platform"), including the mobile application for iOS and Android devices and the web platform for venue management, created by SOWND (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

Information Collected Across All Platforms

The Services collect information when you download and use them. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Services
• The operating system you use on your device
• Email address and account credentials
• Profile information (name, bio, photos)

For Artist Users (Mobile App)

• Artist profile details (stage name, genre, bio, social media links)
• Media content (photos, videos, audio samples, EPK materials)
• Performance history and availability
• Gig requests and bookings
• Communication with venues

For Venue Users (Web Platform)

• Venue business information (name, address, type, capacity)
• Contact details and staff accounts
• Calendar and event scheduling data
• Booking requests and confirmations
• Communication with artists
• Financial and payment information (if applicable)

Web Platform Specific Data

• Cookies and similar tracking technologies
• Browser type and version
• localStorage and sessionStorage data
• Page navigation and interaction patterns

The Services do not gather precise geolocation information without your explicit consent.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Services and their offerings. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Third-Party Services We Use

• Supabase: Database, authentication, and backend infrastructure for both mobile and web platforms
• Google Analytics for Firebase: Mobile app analytics and usage tracking
• Firebase Crashlytics: Mobile app crash reporting and stability monitoring
• RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management for premium features
• Web Analytics Services: Analytics and user behavior tracking for the web platform

Cross-Platform Data Sharing

Your account data may be synchronized across mobile and web platforms to provide a seamless experience. For example, artist profiles created on mobile may be viewable by venues on the web platform, and booking requests made through the web platform will be accessible in the mobile app.

When We Disclose Information

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

Mobile App

You can stop all collection of information by the mobile application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network (App Store or Google Play).

Web Platform

For the web platform, you can:

• Close your account by contacting us at hero@sownd.studio
• Manage cookie preferences through your browser settings to opt-out of non-essential cookies
• Clear your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage data
• Use browser privacy modes to limit data collection

Marketing Communications

You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications by following the unsubscribe link in any promotional email or by contacting us directly at hero@sownd.studio.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Services and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Services, please contact them at hero@sownd.studio and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations)
• Right to Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to Object: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Services to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (hero@sownd.studio) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Services, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.

For the web platform, continued use of the website after being informed of any changes to this Privacy Policy shall constitute your consent to such changes.
